  • Vedas are religious texts originating in ancient India. They constitute the oldest layer of Sanskrit literature and the oldest scriptures of Hinduism.

  • There's four Vedas:

    1. Rigveda.
    2. Yajurveda.
    3. Samaveda.
    4. Atharvaveda.

  • Hindus consider the Vedas to be impersonal, authorless and wrote by not humans. Ancient sages wrote the texts after intense meditation.
